Regency Brass Inlaid Rosewood Writing Slope
A Regency brass inlaid Rosewood Writing Slope dating back to early 1800. The box has brass handles to the sides with a brass top and key escutcheon. The lock bears the name Tompson and GR Patent beneath the monarch’s crown.
Open the box to reveal a re-leathered writing surface with a pen slope to the centre a nib slope and an inkwell. There is a key to open the space for paper underneath the writing surface.
