German 'HAC' Bracket 8-Day Mantel Clock Westminster Chime 

Antique German 8-DAY Mantle Clock, from the Hamburg American Clock company (HAC) 
 
Dating from the later part of the 19th century this is a very attractive mahogany cased clock with inlayed patterns and an engraved silver anodised dial and the front is flanked by 2 mahogany columns. 
 
The dial has Chime/Silent adjustment in the dial arch. 
 
The movement is a twin train 8 day, chiming on the quarter hours and strikes the hour. 
 
HAC Company founded in 1883 from the partnership of Paul Landenberger and Philip Lang in Schramberg. Originally called Landenberger and Lang, became the Hamburg Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik in 1891. Landenberger previously worked as business manager for Junghans (q.v.). In 1930 the HAC merged with Junghans. The trademark of two crossed arrows was registers in 1892. 
 
The clock measures: 
43cm in height, 
31cm in width, 
17cm in depth. 
 
The clock comes with a pendulum and a key. 
 
The movement is in good working order have recently been services.d and overhauled and is in perfect working order.
