Antique Victorian Rosewood Davenport Desk Brass Gallery Rail
A very pretty Victorian rosewood freestanding davenport. The pierced brass galleried top lifts to reveal a well fitted stationary compartment.
The sliver is original with gold and blind tooling. The interior has a working brass lock and keys. To the right side are 4 mahogany lined drawers with turned pulls with opposing false drawers to the left side.
The front with has some age wear and supported by barleytwist supports. The shaped base raised on brass castors.
This beautiful desk as recently been restored.
