Antique Early 19th Century Oak Longcase clock by Barwise of Cockermouth 
The arched brass dial showing a symbolic sun face, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and signed Barwise Cockermouth. The centre of the dial is ornately engraved and is also silvered, with a day of month aperture. The case is in oak with main door has a double arched form. 
 
The hood has a swan neck pediment above turned columns, The movement is a eight day movement striking the hour on a gong. Complete with pendulum, winder and weights. The movement has recently been services and is in good working order.
