George III inlaid oak & mahogany crossbanded longcase clock Smith & Sons Walton 

 
late Georgian/Early Victoria oak and mahogany inlaid crossbanded longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break-arch dial with subsidiary seconds and is inscribed 'Smith & Sons Walton'; Samuel Smith of Walton on Trent appears in the 1835 Pigot & Co's Directory of Derbyshire, Herefordshire, therefore dating to clock to this period. 
The hood with swan neck pediment, glazed door and turned columns, the trunk door with triple arched top, flanked by further columns, on a cut cornered base and bracket feet, height 237cm, with pendulum, two weights and winder. 
 
The movement has been recently services and is in perfect working order
